On the Outside

Your adornment must not be merely external - braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.
1 Peter 3:3-4
It's true that what's in our heart is far more important than how we look but that doesn't mean we should walk around dowdy and drab either...
There's nothing wrong with dressing nice, fixing our hair and taking care of our skin. When we look our best on the outside it can boost our self esteem and make us feel good. As long as it isn't taken to the extreme...

Along with our healthy habits we're also learning to update our wardrobe and dress to fit our body style. NOW...not in 6 months or year when 20 pounds have been shed:-) Hair, make-up and skin care NOW...not later down the road! We need to take care of the outside of our bodies just like we're taking care of the insides.
